Okay, well it took us long enough to get this blog going again… yeah, about a year. We made the switch from Blogger to WaitsFamilyAnimals.com in September of last year. Once we did that, we did what all aspiring blogger do. We stopped blogging. In that time much has happened:
• Semiotic Technologies work slowed to a stop.
• Liz changed salons to A Peace of Eden.
• Todd started working with Skill-Life making CentsCity.
• Liz and Todd got Pregnant!
So, we continue to do exciting things and our lives continue on. In fact, we were able to get up into the 50′s on Say It Ain’t So in Rock Band with somewhere over a million points. I’m sure we’ve been knocked down since then. But we were SO EXCITED we went and made a music video. Once I actually edit it, we’ll post it 
. Get pumped.
Also to come are more posts about the pregnancy. Duh! Lately we have been lying in bed while Liz feels like she is going to throw up. Oh, and then actually throwing up. I wish there were more I could do to help, but it’s not like a foot massage will make the pukes go away. So we have watched all of I Love Lucy and Firefly. Which, when you really think about it, is SO much better than Dollhouse. We brought home a sonogram last week and are super excited. It finally is setting in, although it is still surreal.
One plus is all the time “relaxing” has given me the opportunity to get our blog up and running. Come back soon to read more about one of the many Waits Families out there.

Thanks, Mendy! I had a lot of fun creating the header.
It’s what I am most proud of here given my ability to draw. Hopefully we can fill this thing with interesting tid-bits to keep people coming back. Don’t forget to sign up for the RSS feed so you can get automatic updates.

I have to agree with Mendy. I LOVE the layout of this blog and the avatars. You did a good job on those, Todd! They really look like you guys! But seriously, looking at how cool your site looks makes me wish I didn’t use blogger. Hmmmm . . . . maybe I’ll have to get some help from you and switch. Oh, and hang in there, Liz! Hopefully the morning sickness (which really means sick all the time) will go away after your first trimester. So, so excited for you guys to have a baby!
