December 10th he was born! The labor was pretty smooth, and a lot better than I thought it would be. Struggling to find a good nap or night sleep is the worse part of the whole thing. We are almost four weeks into it, and with all the baby books Todd is reading, along with what everybody else says, we are almost at the hump where he wont be needing to eat for 40 min. every 2- 2 1/2 hours. He really is a sweet boy (of course I’m going to say that) he was born with Michael Buble singing in the background.
My mom leaves tomorrow and we are so sad about this. She has been able to be with us for almost three weeks. I also have some great friends and a great sister in law who makes sure I stay sane with phone calls and invites over to their homes. This is the first blog post I have made using this new thing, so hopefully you will get more from us as time goes on. Gotta go, somebody is hungry… again.

Liz . . . seriously, don’t you feel like all you do is nurse the baby?! I mean, you feed the baby, it takes forever, and then it’s like they have to eat again so soon after you’re done. It does get better.
I love that picture of E and F with Conner. So sweet. I’m glad you’ve got Mendy out there to help you out.
Conner is such a handsome little fellow!

i totally feel that way. during the day it doesnt bother me, unless we have plans for the day (im horrible at breast feeding in public) i am going to bring my breast friend to church with me every sunday, and im going to the mothers lounge. not everybody goes to the mothers lounge, but i cant do it without a little show.
i have a thing that goes over my head like you do, but it doesnt allow me to look down like yours. so its not much of a help. i also need both hands when i breast feed, i haven’t figured out how people use only one. maybe by the last baby i will have it down.

Love the update and can’t wait for more pictures!!! Sorry your mom is leaving, Liz. It’s sad to see moms leave. They really do help out so much.
