A Face: Then and Now

It has been five years since I got my license. I had to renew it on May 7th. The people at the DMV were so friendly and helpful. One of the past three statements is false. Which is it?

Regardless, I noticed some differences in my physical appearance within the last five years. See if you can pick them out. I will number them:

1) Hair. Uh… where did it go? It’s like it is scared to be seen on my head anymore. I am back in middle school, and old friends won’t hang out with me anymore.

2) Girth. It’s as if someone took the “Pen Tool” in Illustrator and look the angular points that made up my face and converted them to curves to smooth out the appearance. Thanks, great Illustrator user in the sky.

3) Eyes. Not the shape, as it looks as though I sill have a lazy left eyelid and silly crooked smile, but the sunkeness. I guess that is directly related to girth. But my face looks less and less like a skeleton and more and more like a man who should start working out again.

What do you see?

We’ve had similar experiences with our driver’s license photo. It had been 10 years since I had my picture taken and let’s just say when they asked me how much I weighed, I lied and said a weight 20 pounds lighter than what I really am. What can I say? I need to work out.

That’s why I don’t compare pictures anymore. (However, I don’t have the same hair changes as you….)
