As we packed up our belongings, we bid a fond farewell to “Bruce’s Place” (which we re-dubbed Brucekies Place after finding a substantial stash of Soviet Life magazines from 1978-1981 and various Russian travel guides and literature). We posed on the deck for a final shot with our matching shirts. You know how much I love matching people, so that was totally my idea. Right, Liz?
Anyway, it was a great week. We had a great time at Chincoteague, and really enjoyed our time with the Machins. It was a fantastic way to spend a week, and truly was a week without any concerns. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing and conversing with Mr. Sun way more than we normally would. But, alas, we are home now. In more comfortable beds, true, but we will still miss Brucekies Place.

I am shocked to see that no one has a sunburn! After a week at the beach, that is very impressive!

Looks like a you guys had a good vacation. I hate being overscheduled for vacation days – so hanging out at the beach and eating ice cream sounds dreamy. Yeah, I just said dreamy.
Oh, and I totally knew the shirts were your idea – Todd written all over that one.

Had to come back to say that after 8 posts of seeing “Chincoteague” I still have no idea how to say it.

Well if it helps, Liz can’t figure out how to say it either. I’ve been thinking… maybe some matching t-shirts for all the family members in Pittsburgh?
