It is the second day just me, the dogs, and baby. It has been nice having quite time with Connor and figure him out. Last night, I think Todd would agree, was the best night so far. He had no fussy time, he only woke up because he was hungry, and then very easily fell asleep. I think that partly has to do with the fact that yesterday he was awake for a good seven hours with no nap. Today he has been very sleepy, so we will see what tonight brings.
We are getting very anxious for the arrival of my brothers baby Bella. I have three people close to me who are having babies this month, I can’t wait to hear their stories and see their baby pics. With my brother and his family moving here the end of January, it means that Granny gets to see us again very soon. I am very excited for my brother, Aubrey, and baby Bella to move out here. It will be nice to have more family, and I think my brother is very excited to be close to some of his family.
Wesley was named after Wesley Windham Price, from Buffy AND Angel. He is such a nerd in Buffy, but in Angel his character really changes. After both series were done, Wesley’s character was one of my favorites.
Riley Finn is Buffy’s “Great” Boyfriend of Season 4. He is a smart, honest, buff, and devoted. If that was so, then why was I glad when he left in Season 5??? Anyways, not realizing it, Ben and Aubrey named their pup Riley. Later calling him Riley Finn. Im sure he will be smart, honest, devoted and…..buff(??) for Ben and Aubrey, and we will love him WAY more than the real Riley Finn.
We went to Ohio Saturday after I got off of work. Ben called me and told me him and Aubrey were headed there to pick up a schnoodle. I said, well pick me one up as well….then after talking with Todd we decided to head down there ourselves. It ended up that we arrived within three minutes of each other. Wesley is a sweetie pie, but very different from Little Bit. She was very needy, and quite. Wesley is a go getter, and when Little Bit is in the mood, they have a lot of fun together.
Little Bit is named after Spike and Dawn from Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Spike is a strange Vampire. He is one of the biggest, baddest, Vampire there is…..until he gets a chip in his head. He is still misunderstood, and rough. Buffy gets a sweet young sis named Dawn, and Spike and Dawn become very close and have a great friendship. SO… the point to all of this is, Spike’s pet name for Dawn is Little Bit.
