Tuesday brought with it Connor’s new awareness of crawling. No longer does he stumble through his crawling– He is a full-fledged army crawler. Whenever he looks at Mr. Chips, the Machin’s dog, he laughs hysterically.
When we went to the beach that afternoon, there were high winds and red flags up. Dangerous conditions. So we set up camp, and enjoyed the gentle exfoliation of the wind-blown sand. The waves were a ride, and we put up with the adverse conditions for as long as possible before giving up and heading home.
How could I forget about the Island Creamery?! Best… Ice-Cream… EVAR!!! They serve homemade waffle cones with homemade Ice-Cream. Delicious. Their scoops were about as large as my fist. Fantastic. That’s where Liz’s Friday birthday cake came from. If you are within driving distance of Chincoteague, I highly recommend coming out here to experience it.

It is the second day just me, the dogs, and baby. It has been nice having quite time with Connor and figure him out. Last night, I think Todd would agree, was the best night so far. He had no fussy time, he only woke up because he was hungry, and then very easily fell asleep. I think that partly has to do with the fact that yesterday he was awake for a good seven hours with no nap. Today he has been very sleepy, so we will see what tonight brings.
We are getting very anxious for the arrival of my brothers baby Bella. I have three people close to me who are having babies this month, I can’t wait to hear their stories and see their baby pics. With my brother and his family moving here the end of January, it means that Granny gets to see us again very soon. I am very excited for my brother, Aubrey, and baby Bella to move out here. It will be nice to have more family, and I think my brother is very excited to be close to some of his family.
